The hardware connects a computer’s USB port to the camera’s serial control connection. The software provides supported image adjustments and PTZ commands; it does not turn USB into a camera video-capture input. Start with the controls you need.
A fixed POV angle may only need image adjustment, while a PTZ position also needs movement and preset control. Share your camera models with Cloudcast and we’ll help select the controller and connections.
- Confirm the control interfaceMatch the controller’s IP or serial connection to the camera. Camera video outputs and control connections are separate considerations.
- Check the supported commandsA shared protocol alone does not guarantee every feature. Third-party cameras need compatible commands for the settings and movements you want to control.
